Words Of We: Is There Magic Around Us That We Cannot See?

Have you ever seen something so beautiful that you kind of questioned if it was even real?
Was there a time that you thought of something important to you and the rainbow kind of appeared out of nowhere right in the sky in front of you?
Did you ever have a butterfly land on you and thought it was the most magical thing ever? Well, it definitely was and is.
There’s so much magic around us that we sometimes fail to notice but once we do - we realise how extraordinary our lives can be.
To notice how animals respond, the weather changes, the things just happen - is to witness the magic unfold right in front of you.
I personally love everything from the mystical world.
Throughout the years I’ve explored and got into spirituality, astrology, physic work, healing work, responding to energy and treating body as a vessel for communication; seeing animals and trees as a moving field of energy; I’ve read a lot of material from various experts in the mentioned fields and it really opened my eyes to a more vast understanding of our universe.
Our lives truly are magical and the magic itself can be simply activated by choosing to see it and experience it with an open heart and open mind.
Synchronicity is one of simplest ways you can experience magic and truly acknowledge that your life is not only physical but also mystical.
Many of us have experienced at least one synchronicity in our lives by: thinking of something and later seeing it appear; getting a hunch about something and then watching it come true; seeing the same sign over and over again in different places; travelling abroad and noticing something you’d usually only see at home; or dreaming of something and having it materialised the next day.
A lot of things can happen that could indicate a synchronicity but the best way to notice it is to see when you’re about to say: No way! - Because you, yourself, can’t believe something happening so accidentally. Notice the next time you feel this slight shock of surprise and acknowledge that the universe has just winked at you.
My favourite type of synchronicity, or chain of events that feels like faith, is when you become close to someone or you meet someone new that just feels good to talk to and then you both discover that you were neighbours when you were 5 years old.
At that time you didn’t communicate with each other, but your meeting was always meant to happen even if it was 30 years later.
I think you also have many stories in your life where something like that happened. I hope you got to share them with the people you love so they’d too be encouraged to share the magic they experience in their own lives.
Another way to experience magic is to learn the communication of the world. The signs of the universe. Rainbows, animals, weather changes, flames, electronics, ground, plants. Every source that carries energy has the ability to communicate with us and it will talk to us when we need it the most.
There is lots of material written about these different signs, omens and their meanings. If you’re interested, you can easily find a book at the library and study it so you’d know how to interpret it.
However, my favourite way to read it is to ask “Well, what does it mean to me”?
Whenever I feel down or sad and I see a rainbow appear - I take it as a sign that everything is going to be ok. The timing matters, because if you think of something or you have a moment and that moment is being led with a beautiful rainbow in the sky, just know that someone is sending you a blessing. Keep going.
I particularly like how all these different energy sources respond to our state of being and come in to carry a message. Sometimes, there’s no message at all. Just a reminder that this world is much deeper in meaning than you may see.
I had electronics shut off at random times, bugs landing on me, candle flames moving in different directions, double rainbows appear or even most pressing issues resolving on their own. Many more that I can no longer remember but I’m learning to start writing it down, just so I could keep memory of it.
I used to be so afraid of spiders, bugs, and any other small living creatures until I’ve learned to love them back. Once I did that, I found them to be very respectful of my space.
I no longer catch flies or bees out of fear, I just put them in a jar and let them go. I let spiders walk around and make their home whenever they see fit. It doesn't bother me. I feel blessed to host them.
The language of the universe is also very deeply tied to the higher realm so the sooner you start noticing something else rather than another human talking to you - just know it’s another form of magic that you’ve been blessed with to experience.
The night sky is also a beautiful sight of our wonderful universe. The more you look at it, the more you feel as one with it. For anyone that has an opportunity to observe - take the chair out and sit and look at the midnight sky.
If you’re well off - travel to different ends of the world where the sky has different sights or occurrences. Northern lights, sunrise in the far east or sundown at the back of the west. Just to see the storm or the heavy rain form is to see something that carries its own power.
It may be scary and sometimes it can do a lot of harm, but just to witness something that the human itself cannot defeat is to remember that we're not here alone.
That’s why respecting our nature is very important. It keeps the score and it strikes back. Everything in our natural world has the ability to strike back. The ground, the ocean, the ice, the sky, the flames. We must protect it and nurture it. Animals too.
My favourite form of magic is our connection to the other side and to our own selves.
Our ability to sense things before happening, ability to see things before happening, our ability to feel our way to a decision and our ability to still stay connected to the people we once lost.
There are many talented energy healers and psychics that knew their gift from the moment they were able to comprehend thought and emotion, however I do believe that all of us have a gift of the unseen and with a little bit of practise we’re able to create magic right with our own hands.
In most cases we're already doing that - we create something that didn’t exist before or we say something to someone unknowingly how much they needed to hear that and it changes the course of their day. That’s magic.
Our ability to connect to one another, dead or alive, and to power each other's lives simply through our presence is beyond beautiful. We make the world a better place when we seek to connect and to build.
We help each other to overcome things even when we don’t know how. We stay strong for one another simply so we could catch a breath. We take care of the weaker ones so they’d too get to see another rainbow in the sky.
We make art that awakens a spirit in us that was once deep asleep. We share and make love to those who see us in our full essence.
We bake food out of the desire to see someone else smile and then we eat it ourselves with the disbelief that it was us who made it.
That’s the magic you see everyday and it feels good to create it too.
The thing is, most of us may stop noticing it. We get so occupied with our work, bills, responsibilities that we hardly notice our impact on other people or our own ability to perceive magic.
We just look at how to get by and distract our brain from processing it all. We forget how magical we all are. We see ourselves and others as ordinary when in reality we’re absolutely beautiful. The love we have inside IS the magic.
Life is not easy, but it doesn’t have to be blank. You can still experience joy and magic. The secret is, in order to see the magic, you have to believe in it. And to believe in it - you have to remind yourself that the time will pass with or without you enjoying it so you might as well just opt in to see the sight of this world's beauty before it’s your time to go.
Don’t close your eyes to magic. Open them and let someone else see it too.
